Serials Cataloging: The
Basics
This workshop provides the basic principles of serials cataloging for
original and copy cataloging for print and electronic serials using
AACR2 and CONSER guidelines. Topics include:
- Definition of a serial
- Descriptive cataloging and MARC tagging of print and electronic
serials
- Copy cataloging workflows
