OCLC WorldCat
Resource Sharing |
Composed of more than 9,100 libraries, the
WorldCat Resource Sharing network has at its core the
comprehensive
WorldCat
database. WorldCat's tens of millions of records represent
library-owned resources—both physical and digital—that cross
all manner of subjects, languages, cultures and uniqueness. This service may also be used by libraries those who do not catalog on OCLC. |

document delivery through a single Windows-based interface. MLNC and Atlas
Systems (the developers of ILLiad) have partnered to offer
MLNC members a 15% discount on Atlas's subscription training.

|
LVIS (Libraries Very Interested in Sharing)

provide each other no-charge ILL of returnable materials and up to 30 pages of no-charge photocopies. LVIS members can perform
special OCLC display holdings and union list commands to see the holdings of other LVIS participants. |

| MIGI (Missouri Interlibrary
Group Initiative) |

IFLA Voucher Purchase Program |
IFLA Vouchers are
available through MLNC. If your library lends or borrows
internationally, IFLA (International Federation of Library
Associations and Institutions) vouchers simplify the process
of payment. IFLA vouchers are a reusable plastic card
which is used in lieu of money for payment for ILL
transactions. They can be used indefinitely. IFLA encourages
lenders to accept a standard payment of one voucher for one
loan or photocopy of up to 15 pages, but libraries may
charge more or less as desired.
When a voucher is received by the lending library, the
voucher is kept, and may then be used as payment for future
borrowing.
Pricing:
- Full vouchers: $15.00
- Half vouchers: $7.50
MLNC will charge a shipping and handling fee of $5.00 per
order. For MLNC members, payment may be made via invoice or
deduction from deposit account. Non-members must pay by
credit card.
IFLA requires a minimum purchase of EUR 100. MLNC allows
US libraries to purchase only the number of IFLA vouchers
they need. Purchasing these vouchers through MLNC also
eliminates the need to purchase euros and to convert dollars
to euros.
A list of IFLA voucher participating libraries is
available
online.
To order, complete the order form below and return it to
the MLNC Office via fax (816-394-1326), or attach as an
email to MLNC Support (support@mlnc.org)
