| MLNC Contract Cataloging |
MLNC offers contract cataloging services for libraries short of
staff, expertise, or facing special projects. Completed projects include maps,
music (CDs and scores), videos, serials, and of course, monographic cataloging
as well as union listing for journal holdings. Most often, the cataloging is
done on OCLC, using the institution's authorization and save file. Some of
the projects are quite small (sporadic original cataloging for special
libraries), and some have been quite large and ongoing. We use existing MLNC
staff, so cannot guarantee specific production dates. Fees are based on the
requirements of the project. For more information, contact
Elizabeth Madson at
ext. 811. |
