Oxford Islamic Studies Online features essential articles written, selected, and interpreted by renowned scholars, including John L. Esposito, Editor in Chief of the site. Content includes the forthcoming Oxford Encyclopedia of the Islamic World (2008), The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Modern Islamic World, The Islamic World: Past and Present, The Oxford History of Islam, The Oxford Dictionary of Islam, and two translations of the Qur’an published in the Oxford World’s Classics series. In addition it will include What Everyone Needs to Know about Islam, and a wealth of primary source documents.

Subscriptions for Islamic Studies Online run on a July to June subscription year. Subscriptions may start at any time, but will be prorated to end on June 30.
