Collection
MLNC understands the importance of keeping current with library
science and information technology trends. As a benefit of MLNC
membership, we are pleased to offer an ongoing NetLibrary shared
collection of eBooks targeted towards library professionals.
Titles from the preliminary title list will be purchased, and
new content will be added as funds allow. Features of the MLNC Professional
eBook
Collection:
- Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from anywhere in the
world
- Shared access to all titles
- Ongoing access to all books for a one-time fee
- Current imprints
- Content for library science and information technology
Please note that these eBooks are available to library staff only.
Therefore, MARC records will not be provided and the titles will not be
accessible via your library's catalog. When your library joins the MLNC Professional
eBook
Collection, MLNC will distribute a username and password
for use by your library staff. This account will provide you with access
to the titles in the MLNC Professional
eBook
Collection only.

To join the MLNC Professional eBook Collection, return the completed
forms as detailed below to Asia Gross
at the MLNC office by fax (314-918-7727).

- Users can browse available eBooks at any time. After 15 minutes of
no activity, the book is returned and made available for another
user.
- If an eBook is in use, you can receive an e-mail
notification when the book is available for use
- The NetLibrary

- Creating user accounts
- Searching for eBooks
- Reading eBooks online
- Adding an eBook to your Favorites list
- Bookmarking pages in an eBook
